We’ve been so excited to film a wedding at The Trades Hall of Glasgow. First of all it is an incredible venue, with so much character. Secondly, the couple who had chosen us to film their wedding there, turned out to be so cool, interesting and amazing: Kirsty and Blake.
Kirsty and Blake met at the bar in South Side of Glasgow. Blake immediately warmed to Kirsty’s beautiful smile, Kirsty was charmed by Blake’s soft Irish accent. They both felt instantly at ease in each other’s company. After a while, they got engaged in Barcelona and started to plan their wedding day with the help of family and friends.
They have chosen The Trades Hall of Glasgow also known as ‘The Hidden Gem of Glasgow’ for the wedding venue. Located in the City Centre of Glasgow, Trades Hall has so much history, character and flexibility to offer. The late Victorian décor provides a spectacular backdrop for the big day. Moreover, it is now a registered charity. Therefore, all profit arising from the weddings and events held within the building is used to support charitable causes. No wonder Blake and Kirsty fell in love with Trades Hall!
Weddings are about romantic ceremonies and light-hearted speeches, but also about celebrating, enjoying yourself and partying. Kirsty and Blake know how to have a good time, especially on the dancefloor. They are wonderful to film and to be around. We felt lucky to capture their wedding day!
