‘Amy, you are my favourite! I will laugh with you, cry with you and grow with you.'

Amy and Michael met in 2014 in Edinburgh and had a good laugh. Since then their relationship blossomed and got more serious. Michael decided to propose to Amy on their holiday in Mallorca. He popped the question during the romantic evening and she said: Yes!

When we met them we learnt that they took really a leap of faith with the new and rustic venue: Guardswell Farm. They fell in love with it at the first viewing. Guardswell Farm turned out to be an exciting and welcoming venue in Perthshire. Amy and Michael’s celebration was a first wedding held at this family owned place.

On a day everyone was in a fantastic mood! The marriage ceremony had so many personal touches. It included the traditional Scottish symbols of unity, such as drinking from the quaich and handfasting. After signing the register, the guests sang with the newlyweds! We could see that having their family and close friends meant a lot to them. Their wedding was a great example of bringing people together, having a good time and celebrating. A party with a ceremony at the start, as Michael described their day.

We just loved everything about their barn wedding. Working alongside Ewa Labuda Photography was wonderful too.
