We met with Donna and Steven a few weeks before their wedding day at the Sherbrooke Castle Hotel. Dee and Steven are super nice, gentle and sweet couple and share similar passions and interests.
On a wedding day Donna looked simply stunning in her wedding dress (with pockets!) from Bijoux Bridal. Steven looked smart in his kilt and was excited to see Donna walking down the aisle. They had a lovely religious ceremony at the church, followed by the epic confetti after the ceremony.
On the way from the church to the Sherbrooke Castle Hotel, we made a quick decision to take a detour and go to The Lighthouse for a few shots. The couple enjoyed the view of the Spiral stairs and went to the top of the Mackintosh Tower. What a great idea to get away for a while and spend some time together enjoying the view over Glasgow’s cityscape!
After the ceremony, we drove to the Sherbrooke Castle Hotel, the luxury venue, located on the south side of Glasgow. One of our favourite parts of the day was the groom’s speech. Steven read a poem ‘I carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart)’ by E.E. Cummings and shared a few heartfelt and funny stories.
The day was packed with so many wonderful, emotional and romantic moments! And we had an absolute pleasure to capture them for the couple. It was also a pleasure to work with the lovely and professional Iris Art Photography.
