From Australia to Dundas Castle
Lisa and Adam travelled from Sydney, Australia to get married at the luxury Dundas Castle, dazzling wedding venue near Edinburgh, Scotland. Dundas Castle is a perfect Scottish Castle for a destination wedding. It has so much to offer. Many stunning and historic rooms to get ready before the wedding ceremony, the great outdoors and gardens, the roof of the Auld Keep where the couple could have the photos and videos taken. The awesome wedding photographers, Sylvia and Simon from Crofts & Kowalczyk Photography took care of the photo side while we captured the wedding day on video.
The wedding ceremony in the gorgeous courtyard
The day was sunny and gorgeous! Dundas Castle offers so many choices for the wedding ceremony, from the intimate indoors to the great outdoors. The couples have so many options. They can have a warm and romantic ceremony in the Great Hall or Main Hall. And if the weather stays dry, the couples can say ‘I do’ on the lawn with the Castle as a backdrop. Lisa and Adam opted for the outdoor wedding ceremony in the gorgeous courtyard. The
ceremony included many personal touches, such as drinking from the quaich and band warming.
Dundas Castle is a perfect venue for a destination wedding
The couple, originally from Fife and London and currently living in Australia, had planned their special day for ages and finally got to celebrate with the loved ones coming from many corners of the globe. Dundas Castle is one of the top exclusive use venues in Scotland, therefore a perfect choice for a destination wedding. The day was filled with so much laughter, tears, happiness and love! We’re grateful that we could capture the day for Lisa and Adam!
