We have filmed many weddings in Aberfoyle and Trossachs but it was our first Kinlochard Village Hall wedding. The venue with its spectacular scenery and community gatherings has wonderful countryside charm.
We particularly like its location on Loch Ard surrounded by forested hillsides. The village hall is excellent for having a proper DIY rustic wedding. It is a blank canvas venue so you can decor it as you want and have a relaxing and fun time enjoying the stunning Scottish landscape.
Loch Ard wedding ceremony
Nikki and Hamish’s wedding was quite a celebration! The couple got very lucky with the weather on a day. Although they were married in autumn, the weather was just like in the middle of the summer. The sunshine allowed them to tie the knot on the lawn overlooking the Loch Ard.
The hexagon arch designed by the groom and his friends and decorated with the rustic and colourful floral made the backdrop even more gorgeous and magical. The atmosphere was relaxed with summer mode on.
The bridal party arrived in a vintage van and Nikki wore a beautiful wedding dress by Brides in the City Glasgow. Humanist ceremonies are so unique and personal, and this time was no different.
We wouldn’t mind at all to be back at Kinlochard Village Hall! It really is an amazing venue for a fun, colourful and laid-back wedding! Congratulations again Nikki and Hamish and have a happy and brilliant life together!
If you’re thinking of having a wedding videographer to capture your day, please get in touch!
